Our Crew

These are the folks that you’ve almost definitely become accustomed to listening to. Unless you’re very new in which case, hi! Thanks for coming by!

Eli Royall (He/Him)

Eli’s pretty face hides the complete weirdo that hides beneath the surface. You’ll enjoy the bizarre phrases and disregard for the rules for the sake of cool. As a DM, he likes to make his players feel like the heroes of the story and as a player he frequently is an impulse driven chaos machine.

Abbey O’Neal (She/Her)

Abbey is an artist and is at times overwhelmed by the flood of insanity that comes from Eli because she’s a relatively normal human that understands volume control. She wants everyone to enjoy themselves and is rather new to TTRPGs. She’s had the opportunity to play a few different types of characters but you’d never guess from her quiet demeanor how powerful her role-playing chops can shine.

Jazz Hoppes (She/Her)

Jazz is a writer who has run a few games, played in a few games, and has both tolerated and been amused by Eli’s mad ravings. She loves games and brings an interesting perspective to so many situations, even if she can sometimes be exasperated by her historically awful rolls. She takes her role-playing as seriously as one can take play and loves to have her in-character conversations.

Ashley McLean (She/Her)

Ashley is a cosplayer and audio editor. Ashley’s very first time playing any TTRPG was as our beloved otter, Margo. The Prismatic Guard storyline is the very first time she’s had the chance to experience a game like D&D and we’re so excited to have her here. If you’re also new to D&D and games like it, she can be your stand in for the very weird and confusing terminology that can be thrown around.

Mike Hall (He/Him)

Mike’s first experience with table top RPGs is Mr. Faye and he absolutely slays it. Mike is an artist that designed our logo for us and he might also be the smoothest person we’ve ever met. Legend tells that Mike was carved from caramel and given life by the breath Billy D Williams.

Selene Noire (They/Them)

Selene is pure divine energy given form. They continue to outwit Eli at every given moment and he loves them for it. Selene has plenty of experience with RPGs and is an amazing dancer and historian; the most powerful of combinations.

Our Old Crew

Have you been listening to our old classic episodes? Probably! These folks are the voices you’ve been hearing in your head.

Eric (He/Him)

Eric was the primary host, engineer, and editor for the classic episodes and we couldn’t appreciate him more for it. He has an exorbitant amount of experience GMing and even helped Eli design the D&D world that is used in the primary podcast.

Chris (He/Him)

Chris is probably some kind of robot that takes in spicy food and excretes sarcasm. His sense of humor is often called uncouth but it can also be very clever and oddly highbrow.

Phil (He/Him)

Phil is very soft spoken, belying the love of chaos that lies behind that voice. Phil has no fear about throwing a fireball into his party members if it gets the job done.

Thomas (He/Him)

Thomas helps Eric to reign in the insanity of Eli and Chris but is often found feeding the fire for the pure joy of it.

Hunter Royall (He/Him)

Hunter is Eli’s older brother, published author, father, husband, and not surprisingly, total weirdo. Considering that they were raised by the same parents it should come as no surprise to anyone that as a DM, Hunter likes to test his players mettle with one challenge after another and as a player he often likes to play someone with a short fuse and nothing to lose.

Amanda Pavik (She/Her)

Amanda has quite a lot of experience writing, drawing, and playing TTRPGs. She was our wonderful editor and sound engineer. Without her this ship would have sunk like the rest of this metaphor. You’ll hear her voice before and after episodes 1 through 31 of the Prismatic Guard storyline, cause we personally can’t get enough of her.

Jeri Evans (She/Her)

Jeri is a writer, disability advocate, pun connoisseur, all around pretty good person. Jeri has been playing TTRPGs for nearly two decades and has enjoyed many of them. Her characters find themselves with passions and hobbies, loved ones, a full life outside of what we see in the game. She can’t help herself, she’s just some kind of role-play wizard.
